Whitetail Fawn

Here's another Whitetail Fawn from the Big Meadows area of Shenandoah National Park.
This is the same fawn as this shot, taken a few minutes later.

As I mentioned on another shot, Big Meadows is a deer photographer's dream.
You can set up, look for a good background, and wait for the deer. They're everywhere.

On this shot, I am disappointed that I cut off the front legs a bit. Even though you lose them in the grasses, you can tell that they are clipped by the edge of the frame. I even popped the slide from the mount before scanning, to get every last millimeter from the film, but unfortunately, they were not all there.
