House Finch

This is one of my first backyard shots from the new house. Now that we've moved to the suburbs, I have more wildlife visiting me than giant rats. I set up a squirrel-proof feeder that the squirrels took about ten minutes to figure out. Oh well. I am seeing a lot of the usual feeder birds -- House and Purple Finches, Cardinals, Gray Catbirds, House Sparrows, Tufted Titmice, Carolina Chickadees, Mourning Doves, and the occasional Woodpecker or Goldfinch. This is a feeder shot, from a perch on a nearby tree.
