Red Fox A Red Fox at Island Beach State Park, New Jersey. Foxes are abundant along the East Coast, and have had a remarkable ability to adapt to the environment. They are thriving in suburbia around Washington, DC. They are easiest to find in the evening, when they are out looking for dinner. IBSP is a good place to go for photography. The foxes are very approachable, though I hear their numbers have dwindled this year, unfortunately. If you go, watch for Deer Ticks. While the foxes' numbers are down, the ticks seem to be thriving and can be found all over the dune grasses. LENS: 100-400 at ~300mm | FILM: Fuji Provia 100F | EXPOSURE: f/5.6 at 1/?" | DATE: 04/01 |
