Greek Mule

This mule carries luggage to and from the hotel rooms where we stayed in Firostefani. The hotel office is at the top of the volcanic cliff, and the rooms are at the bottom of the steps leading down the side.

Without a mule, the hotel workers would be dead of heat exhaustion after about 20 minutes on the job.
It was tiring walking up the steps even without any luggage.
