Hawaii

All over the Big Island of Hawaii we saw fence posts or concrete bases with no fences attached. Presumably, this marks some sort of land boundary, but this was in a remote area accessible only by 4WD over an old lava flow. We were the only visitors out here, an area near a black sand beach.
