Tuscany

Unfortunately, I don't know anything about this building, which looks like a church or monastery. Then again, it seems like every old building in Italy was once a church or monastery. The light was so beautiful I couldn't resist shooting it.

One of the great things about Siena is that it is situated on three hills, so you have grand views of Tuscan countryside all around. This photo is part of the outstanding view we had from our hotel room. I shot this one morning during sunrise. I love sunrise shots like this -- where I don't have to travel very far.
